The Christian community has a long tradition since the early days of the Church of remembering deceased family members in a special way during November. The Congregation of Christian Brothers throughout the world has a custom of traditionally offering special prayers during November for the deceased Brothers who have taught at the local Christian Brothers’ school, and for our deceased alumni, students, parents, relatives, friends, and benefactors of the school. This long-standing custom continues to the present day here at Palma.
Br. Dunne, CFC, President
Are you unaware that we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were indeed buried with him through baptism into death, so that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might live in newness of life.
Romans 6:3-9
Special thanks to Palma Theology Teacher, Mr. Beesley, for his preparation of this commemoration of Palma's dearly departed.
