Non-Suit: 10 points                                             Tardy to Class or Roll Call:  1 point

Dress Cut:  1 point                                              Unexcused Absence:  10 points

Injury/Sickness.  Students with a short-term injury or illness require a note from their doctor.  Students will be required to complete additional assignments to make up for their missed participation.  Students with a long-term injury or illness that does not permit them to participate in P.E. for one-quarter or longer will be enrolled in Alternative Physical Education and will be evaluated on the basis of written work.

Lockers.  Students will be assigned a P.E. locker.  Students are not to change P.E. lockers or use lockers other than their assigned lockers.  Students changing P.E. lockers, or using multiple lockers, may receive a detention and/or additional consequences from the Dean of Students.

Showers.  Adolescent boys have a tendency to avoid good personal hygiene for a variety of reasons, one of which is modesty.  However, for purposes of good hygiene, all students must shower after P.E.  Students may choose to change into swim shorts prior to showering.  Students need to rinse completely and ensure that all dirt is washed from their bodies.  At a minimum, P.E. towels and uniforms should be taken home weekly for washing
