The 2010 Monterey County Mock Trial competition will take
place at the Monterey County Courthouse. Competition dates are
January 28 (5:30 p.m.), February 1 (5:30 p.m.), February 3 (5:30
p.m.), February 4 (5:30 p.m.), and February 6 (8:30 a.m.) All
times are starting times. Feb 6 will have several rounds.
Meeting Dates for November AND
December:
Every Tuesday and Thursday from 3 to 5 p.m. Meet at
classroom A2.
Lawyers are required to attend all meetings; witnesses and others must
come on Thursdays in November. In December, witnesses will need
to attend all meetings.
Mock Trial Meeting Dates
for October:
Every Monday and Wednesday at 11:45 during fifth period lunch in
A2. Be
on time and bring your lunch. Also, the following:
- 3 to 5 p.m.
in A2 on Thursday, October 1
- 3 to 5 p.m. in A2 on Tuesday, October 5
- 3 to 5 p.m. in A2 on Thursday, October 15
- 3 to 5 p.m. in A2 on Tuesday, October 20
- 3 to 5 p.m. in A2 on Thursday, October 29
Students
wishing to be part of the team must attend the meetings! If you
cannot make the meeting, you must let me know in advance.
The case books are here. This year, the Lyceum is
charging
teams to be a part of the Monterey County Mock Trial Competition.
Each official member of the team must bring a check (made out to
Palma High School) for $30 in order for us to pay the entry fee.
